Quiet Mastery Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Quiet Mastery app ("the app", "we", "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Description of Service
Quiet Mastery is a spiritual accountability platform for men. It provides tools for habit tracking, prayer, crew-based accountability, journeys, voice notes, and private and group messaging (dispatches). The app is intended for personal spiritual growth and brotherhood community.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. Quiet Mastery is designed for adult men pursuing spiritual growth; we encourage use by those 18 and older.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately at hello@quietmastery.org if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not create accounts for others or use another person's account without permission.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app to:
Post content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
Share another member's private content, dispatches, or personal information outside the app without their consent.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, the backend, or the database.
Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in the app (prayers, reflections, dispatches, voice notes, field log entries). By submitting content, you grant Quiet Mastery a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and deliver that content to the intended audience within the app (your crew, or a specific recipient for private dispatches).
We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for commercial purposes outside the app.
6. Private Dispatches and Data Access
Private dispatches are visible only to the sender and the intended recipient within the app. However, they are not end-to-end encrypted. Messages are stored on our servers and are technically accessible to Quiet Mastery operators and our hosting infrastructure providers (Neon, Replit). Do not use private dispatches for communications requiring the highest level of confidentiality. For sensitive personal matters, we recommend a dedicated encrypted messaging app.
7. Crew Membership
Crew leaders and app administrators may add or remove members from a crew. Content shared within a crew is visible to all current crew members. If you are removed from a crew, you will no longer have access to that crew's content. Content you previously posted may remain visible to remaining crew members.
8. Voice Notes
Voice notes are automatically and permanently deleted after 48 hours. Do not use voice notes to share information you need to retain long-term.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the community. You may delete your account at any time through the app's profile settings or by contacting us at hello@quietmastery.org.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be accurate or complete. Quiet Mastery is not a licensed counseling, medical, or religious ministry service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quiet Mastery and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where Quiet Mastery is based.
